Novozymes named to 2008's "World's Most Ethical Companies" list by the Ethisphere Institute at the Forbes, Ethisphere Joint-conference
The Ethisphere Institute, named Novozymes to Ethisphere’s second-annual World’s Most Ethical Companies list. Ethisphere a think-tank dedicated to the research and promotion of profitable best practices in global governance, business ethics, compliance and corporate responsibility revealed the award at the Ethisphere and Forbes joint-conference, “Driving Profit through Ethical Leadership,” held on June 3rd .Danish communications award
Novozymes won Kommunikationsprisen 2007 (Danish communications award) for the best communications project in Denmark. The award was given for the best example of good professional communication according to DKF’s (Danish Communicators’ Association) 5 criteria for the best professional communication. The project is called Voice-model (November).

Proggy award for Best Innovation
Novozymes was granted the Proggy award for Best Innovation, which is handed out each year by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), for its work in developing test methods so that experiments on animals can be avoided. Novozymes has been honoured by an animal rights organisation for the company's efforts to provide animal-free bioprocessing methods aimed at cutting animal testing during drug development. (July).
United Nations Global Compact recognizes Novozymes
For the second year in a row, Novozymes has been recognized for our efforts to further integrate sustainability into our way of doing business. United Nations Global Compact is the largest sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 3,000 companies as signatories. It is based on ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. (May).
