The Research and Development Center occupies 1,500 square metres and is located on the second floor of Novozymes China Headquarters in the Shangdi Information Industry Zone of Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing.
Equipped with state-of-the-art biotechnology research apparatus, the centre specializes in new enzyme research and applications, and carries out contract biopharmaceutical research projects.
Many of the 35 talented Chinese scientists working in the R&D Center have studied abroad, and a number of senior researchers come from prestigious universities or research institutions in Europe or the United States.
