Tianjin plant is Novozymes’ latest strategic production site after Denmark and U.S., and a major supply centre for Asia Pacific. The plant produces a wide range of industrial enzymes, including technical-, feed- and food-grade enzymes, as well as the most advanced types of detergent enzymes. The plant occupies 160,000 m2, with 38% covered in green, and operates the most advanced enzyme production processes, including fermentation, recovery, granulation and wastewater treatment. The plant’s quality and environment management systems have been certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively.
Novozymes Tianjin plant is located in the Tianjin Economic Development Area, about 45 kilometres from the city. More than 330 employees work in the plant.
