We must improve our ability to think globally. This is why it is so important for our employees to get an international perspective on their working life. It is part of Novozymes’ overall strategy to develop our business into new areas such as health care products.
We do this partly through acquisitions around the world, most recently in Sweden and the US. At the same time, as an independent company, we have become much more aware of making full use of our global production facilities, both in Switzerland, Brazil, the US and China.
We facilitate this not only by posting employees from the Danish organisation in our affiliates, but also by assigning key people from subsidiaries to Novozymes’ headquarters in Denmark for longer or shorter periods.
