Medical Insurance
Employees are provided with a major medical plan, for which the company pays the majority of the annual cost. Medical and Dental Insurance begins on the first day of employment.

The company pays the total annual cost for each employee for this comprehensive dental program.
Vacation
A good work/life balance is recognized as being very important at Novozymes. All employees receive a minimum of 2 weeks per year, earning a 3rd week after 2 years, a 4th week after 5 years, and a 5th week after 15 years of employment. New employees may receive credit for related experience they bring to the job, entitling them to begin with 3 to 4 weeks of vacation the first year.

Retirement
Novozymes provides its employees with a very rich 401k program, contributing 5% of the employee's annual salary and matching the employee's contribution dollar for dollar up to 4% of the employee's annual salary.
Sick Pay
Up to 80 hours per year of paid sick time may be used for the employee's own illness or the illness of an immediate family member.
