Novozymes obtained our first ISO 9000 certification in 1996. Today our company is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 covering the Enzymes Business and Biopolymers.

ISO 14000:2004
Since 2001 all Novozymes enzymes producing sites have been certified according to ISO 14001 in order to verify that our products are produced with a minimum of impact on the environment.
Also, having signed the ICC Business Charter for sustainable development, Novozymes is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our production.

DS 2403:2001
Novozymes in Denmark was the first company to obtain the certificate for Energy Management System DS 2403. The certificate that covers production of enzymes and biopolymers in DK verifies that we constantly focus on reducing energy consumption

FAMI-QS
FAMI-QS is the short name for ‘Code of Practice for Feed Additive and Pre-mixture Operators’, as defined in the European Feed Hygiene Regulation (Reg/183/2005); describing the codes of practice in the European animal feed additive industry.
Since 2005 all Novozymes productions sites have been certified according to FAMI-QS covering enzymes to the feed industry.
