Since 1996 our enzyme area we have had a worldwide ISO 9000 certificate, and we are today certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
In 1998 we received a quality award for our Quality Management System. To us quality development is a never-ending process, which we will continue to improve to be able to serve our customers in the best possible way.
Since 2001 all our enzyme production sites have obtained the ISO 14001 certification to certify that our products are produced with a minimum of impact on the environment.
Having signed the ICC Business Charter for sustainable development, Novozymes is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our production.
In 2003 our quality management system was revised and our ISO 9001:2000 certificate now covers both the Enzyme and the Biopolymers activities. The scope of the certificate is "Development, Production & Sales of Biopolymers and Industrial Enzymes".
