Industry Sales Leader, Beverages and Oil&Fat, Beijing
We are looking for an Industry Sales Leader in Beijing who will report to the business director of F&B business operation.

The detailed tasks and responsibilities will include,

Sales Management
  • Install a high level of customer ownership and industry focus
  • Lead, direct and manage the local organization of AccMs to ensure targets in AB and account plans are met
  • Ensure preparation and challenge of AB (in the BRM), FF and provide input to RSF (SCM)
  • Ensure adherence to agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) measures within own area of responsibility
  • Secure budget and manage expenses related to Account management for AccMs
  • Ensure that account plans are prepared, challenged, executed and maintained according to policies and support the sales efforts and goals
  • Guide AccMs to identify new business opportunities as well as ensure opportunity management according to the Novozymes Opportunity Management process and system (CRM).
  • Manage the price negotiation process to ensure that the price guidance is followed consistently
  • Lead the identification of collaboration and partnering agreements and execute their implementation in cooperation with the local and global Business Operations organization
  • Collect and communicate competitive threats for counter action and seek decision making support from Marketing, Business Operations, for implementing action plan
  • Ensure proper call and negotiation preparation following standards
Industry Management
  • Ensure NZ participation in relevant industry associations
  • Lead the Industry Groups
  • Collect relevant input on industry strategies (as by request from the RMM) and budgets (IS, MTP etc.) and ensure the content is directing the formulation of account plans and provide feedback to RMM on RGP usefulness and short falls
  • Build strong relationship with key members of the IPG
  • Drive process for providing sales and competitive data into ISG and GMT via the RMM
People Management
  • Ensure proper allocation of local AccMs
  • Guide/coach/challenge AccMs in his/her daily business operations
  • Coach and provide direction for own reportees, incl. setting targets (AHEAD), follow-up, salary and bonus setting and Individual Development Plans (IDP)
  • Implement training and skill development plan defined by the Manager
  • Ensure efficiency of sales force through proper planning
  • Ensure proper reporting in CRM acc. to standards
  • Ensure proper presentation and positioning skills
  • Ensure proper distribution management skills, when relevant
  • Ensure proper hand-over of tasks, when AccM leaves his position so customers do not get negatively affected by the change of AccM
In this position you need to have:
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (Sales/ Marketing and/or Technical)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of leading sales team experiences, preferably in chemical or biochemical sciences
  • Account management skills, demonstrated sales and people management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, able to coach interpersonal skill development
