Electrical Engineer, Supply Operations, Franklinton, NC
As a member of Production Maintenance Team you will be responsible for provide electrical engineering expertise to continuously improve production equipment reliability, integrity, cost management, and performance. Your duties will require you to effectively interact across many organizational functions to communicate and prioritize project needs. Duties include:

Provide technical support to maintenance supervisors, planners, and technicians on complex electrical repairs and developing repair alternatives

Champion and improve the electrical Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs and instrumentation

Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct root cause failure analysis investigations on failed equipment to eliminate repeat or high cost failures

Analyze data related to equipment partnering with colleagues to identify key areas for reliability improvements
Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance skills and safety training programs

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering

Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a processing industry such as specialty chemical, refinery, biotech or pharma preferred

Extensive hands on experience with troubleshooting, repair, and installation of variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, AC / DC motors, motor control circuitry, and electrical distribution equipment

Experience with the operation, installation and calibration of process control instrumentation related to flow, pressure, temperature, level, and position

Strong knowledge of safe work practices and the National Electrical Code

Previous experience with distributed control systems, infrared thermography and SAP maintenance modules are preferred

Possess proven skills and experience within people management and leadership.

Have demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with diverse groups

Have visual acuity and manual dexterity, with the ability to walk, climb stairs and ladders, plus enter confined spaces
