Being located in most of the world sets high standards for the way we collaborate with each other and our partners. A lot of attention is therefore put in to our interpersonal skills and ability to work closely together across regions and functions.
Novozymes corporate R&D is located in 8 different geographical sites (see map), with each site representing a certain set of skills and competences. Any research project can pull on competences from any geographical R&D site, and it is not unusual to have people from 3-4 different sites working on the same project.
To facilitate cross-geographical and cross-cultural collaboration, we are prioritizing a high level of face-to-face interaction between our scientists globally, and all sites are sharing one central frame of knowledge management systems (databases etc).
