Share buyback program Novozymes A/S B shares completed

On February 11, 2011, Novozymes initiated a share buyback program in accordance with the provisions of European Commission Regulation no. 2273/2003 of December 22, 2003, also referred to as the Safe Harbour Regulation.

Novozymes has now completed the announced program to repurchase up to DKK 400 million worth of shares in the period from February 11, 2011, to December 31, 2011 to cover its commitments regarding employee incentive programs. 491,000 shares have been bought back at an average price of DKK 814.27.

Transactions related to Novozymes’ incentive programs have resulted in a net sale by Novozymes of 7,823 B shares in the period from November 4 to November 10. The shares related to these transactions were not part of the Safe Harbour share buyback program.
 
With the transactions stated above, Novozymes owns a total of 2,031,290 treasury shares, corresponding to 3.1% of the share capital. The total amount of shares in the company is 65,000,000, including treasury shares.
