Student Assistant in Communications and Digital Marketing for the Open Innovation Network HelloScience in New Business Development, Incubation & Acquisitions, Bagsværd
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Student Assistant with experience and a keen interest in communications, social media engagement, and digital marketing to assist our new ambitious open innovation project, HelloScience.

HelloScience is an open innovation network, launched in September 2017 by Novozymes – based on the simple idea that two great minds are better than one. This is the strength of any collaborative approach and the very essence of Novozymes’ strategy ‘Partnering for impact’. Check out for more info.

In this position, you will be working closely with scientists, business developers, lawyers, data scientists, and our global and regional communications teams. You will be assisting us in engaging innovators and encouraging collaboration through social media, newsletters, creating site content etc. We expect you to be proactive, creative, and find new ways of spreading our message and generate content. Curiosity and creativeness is rewarded in our organization.

Novozymes' HelloScience Team is part of New Business Development, Incubation & Acquisitions in collaboration with Research and Technology department, but we also have a strong connection to the rest of the organization. Our mission is to be a catalyst for new ways to accelerate innovation and collaborate with corporates and start-ups.

Working hours will be app. 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods. Conversely, we expect you to put in extra effort when needed.

In this position you need to:
  • Be studying communications, journalism, or marketing with a focus on communications
  • Have excellent communication skills (primarily writing) in English
  • Capable of conducting digital copywriting
  • It’s preferred you have begun your graduate studies, yet, experience can outweigh level of education
  • The ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively
  • Distill key messages and ask good questions to scientists explaining complex science
Skills that will make stand out but aren’t necessary:
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing
  • The ability to work with Illustrator or similar software to create visual content
  • Video creation
  • SEO
