Business Development Manager, Food & Beverage, Beijing
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the strategic marketing and business development team in F&B division.

The detailed tasks and responsibilities will include, Idea identification and maturation
  • Identify and approach potential customers and partners to scout for and mature new business opportunities in the relevant Food & Beverage industries
  • Conduct detailed market analysis of business opportunities including assessments of key drivers, trends, and commercial feasibility, and select the most promising ideas considering the link with NZ’s technologies, Industries, market potential, commercial probability, technical feasibility and strategic fit to Novozymes
  • Work closely with application research and other relevant functions to develop selected ideas into compelling business cases
Business building
  • Identify and assemble the required business team in cooperation with other business units
  • Own or participate in the project management of BD projects, in coordination with other functional units
  • Develop strategic partners and seek early validation of the key assumptions of the business case
  • Coordinate initial industrial scale trials and lead the process of establishment of industrial proof of concept
  • Drive negotiations on development and business contracts with development partners and customers, e.g. JDAs, CDAs, Commercialization agreements etc.
In this position you need to have:
  • Relevant advanced degree (M.S. or MBA) within Economy, Business Administration (preferred), or Science/Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years of marketing and business development experiences in Food and beverage industry
  • Strong track record of building new business in relevant innovative business areas
  • Strong business acumen, entrepreneurship and drive to lead cross-functional teams to develop new business
  • Great network skills to build strategic partnership externally with customers, academia, and industrial associations
