Reduce oliogosaccharides, increase maltose or dextrose yields

In maltose production, Novozymes Promozyme® is applied in combination with Novozymes Fungamyl® or beta-amylase during saccharification. Other enzyme activities such as Novozymes Maltogenase® may also be applied. Promozyme® increases the maltose yield and reduces the amount of branched oligosaccharides.
 
In dextrose production, Novozymes Promozyme® is applied in combination with glucoamylase during saccharification. Using Promozyme® increases the dextrose yield by reducing the oligosaccharide content, and allows a reduction of the glucoamylase dosage.
