Do words like quality, food safety, food defense, vulnerability assessment, management systems, standards, certifications, audits and data analysis catch your attention? If yes, then you might be our new colleague in the Quality Compliance Department, which is part of the Global Quality area.

You will be key in continuously improving Novozymes’ food and feed quality system in close collaboration with other quality colleagues in the food industry. With your in-depth knowledge of food certifications, you will play a key role in implementing new requirements from food standards globally.

This involves development and maintenance of quality and food & feed safety systems; administration and participation in internal- as well as supplier audits; administration and development of Novozymes’ certifications. Collection and presentation of quality related data for various internal stakeholders, and support to the organization when entering quality related agreements with external partners will also be part of the responsibilities.

System design and support take place at local and global levels and consider business interests and opportunities together with compliance related requirements.

You will be working with colleagues at all levels and in all geographies throughout the organization and must be able to lead and influence others, even when a direct reporting relationship does not exist.

In this position you need to have:

  • A Ph.D. and/or Master’s degree in natural sciences, chemistry, engineering, veterinary medicine or similar.
  • Several years of experience from relevant industry or authority
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000 and preferable also FAMI-QS standards and a proven track record working with quality management systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A proactive approach in a global context, robust and thriving in a dynamic working environment with multiple priorities.
  • A strong drive and ability to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be able you can operate effectively within a network based matrix environment
