Senior Plant Engineer, Novozymes BioAg, Milwaukee, WI, USA

Join a close-knit team of professionals that supplies the world’s farmers with beneficial microbes. Our presence in Milwaukee, the City of Festivals, and in the agriculture community stretches back more than 100 years. As part of the BioAg division of Novozymes, the Senior Reliability Engineer ensures those farmers receive quality product in time for each planting season. This leader delivers customer satisfaction through the collaboration and coordination of resources, as well as continuous improvement and employee involvement in solutions.

The Senior Plant Engineer plans and directs all activities within the maintenance organization and supports all the process and production functions of the site, which includes serving as the Senior Maintenance Mechanic as needed. This leader is responsible for the maintenance budget, as well as the preventative maintenance, technical development, and site capital expenditure plans. The ideal candidate is well-organized, insightful, and willing to work side-by-side with employees to achieve our goals. The Senior Reliability Engineer is also patient, supportive, and keen on developing their staff to full potential.

  • Education/Experience:
    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited four-year college or university in Business or Industrial Management, Engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, chemical), or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 3 years of Management experience.
  • Physical:
    Must be physically mobile and possess visual acuity required to inspect process equipment. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience in biology, microbiology, agronomy, and/or chemistry beneficial.
