Novozymes North America President Adam Monroe says: “Novozymes is making significant changes to position ourselves for growth. Therefore, it’s critical for the company’s future to consistently attract the best people.”

He continues: “We're proud to be on this list among so many strong businesses across the US. Increasingly, businesses are seen as places with a void of trust and ethics. We aim to show the world that Novozymes is a trust-based workplace that cares about all our stakeholders.”

Today, Novozymes in the US was ranked # 17 on the Best Medium Workplaces List for 2010. The list includes companies with 251–999 employees.

In Brazil, Novozymes moved up the rankings this year when it was recently recognized as # 33 out of a field of 774 companies.

Delighted with this recognition, Brazil Regional President Pedro Luiz Fernandes and North America Regional President Adam Monroe agree that Novozymes puts a lot of hard work into creating a great workplace.

Leadership development is one reason why Pedro Fernandes thinks Novozymes did well in the Great Place to Work rankings this year. “Novozymes is working in a focused way to simplify work processes, develop the company’s increasingly international and network-based culture, and boost global employee engagement,” he explains.

Today’s recognition in the US follows rankings of Novozymes earlier this year as the 33rd best place to work in Brazil, 4th in Switzerland, 32nd in Europe, and 6th among Danish companies.
