Enzymes are proteins and proteases break down proteins in a reaction that needs water. That means that in storage, proteases in liquid laundry detergents can break down other enzymes that have been added to the detergent. The result is reduced performance. This product’s proprietary protease inhibitor technology prevents this breakdown, so all the enzymes in your detergents can perform fully in the wash.

Benefits

Amylases target starch. Tough food soils that contain starch include sauces and gravies, dough and batter residues and casseroles with rice, pasta or potatoes. Amylases break down the starch in these stains, making them easier to lift away from tableware and cookware. That’s why amylases are crucial to the performance consumers demand from their automatic dishwasher detergent.  

Achieve® Alpha 100 L is designed to be highly effective on tableware and cookware with a high level of starch soiling, even at eco-mode settings and in shorter and cooler cycles. It’s also tough enough to withstand exposure to high pH levels and strong chelators.

Details

This product contains enzymes. While enzymes are safe to use in consumer applications, they need correct handling in working environments to ensure workers’ safety.

Indeed, repeated inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols resulting from improper handling may induce sensitization and may cause allergic type 1 reactions in sensitized individuals.
