In many parts of the world, washing in cold water is standard. In the US and Europe, where doing laundry is one of the most energy-intensive household chores, environmentally-conscious consumers are choosing cold washes to save energy and to make their clothes last longer. That’s why we developed this product to give consumers high performance even at low temperatures.

Performs well in cold washes

During storage enzymes can lose activity over time when exposed to tough conditions. 
In powder detergents high temperature, humidity or bleach exposure over longer periods may cause the enzymes to lose activity. 
In liquid detergents enzymes are stable in the right mix of pH, water content, polyol content and protease inhibition. When exposed to high temperatures or if your formulation needs go beyond ideal conditions for the enzymes, enzyme activity could drop over time. 
Because your detergents may face tough on their journey to consumers, we developed this product to be highly stable. The result is consistent performance, even after exposure to tough conditions.

Celluclean® Evity® 4500 T keeps whites white and colors bright by preventing dirt particles in the wash water from depositing on otherwise clean clothes. Celluclean® Evity® 4500 T offers high performance on whiteness and brightness, even in cold washes.

Benefits

Dirt particles removed from clothes in the wash can move from the wash water onto otherwise clean clothes. The result is graying whites and dull colors. The cause is the tiny fibers that come loose from cotton threads over time. The shorter ones trap dirt particles from the wash water. It’s thought that cleaning cellulases target and cut these shorter threads. That makes cleaning cellulases an essential ingredient for laundry detergents that promise consumers fabric care.  

Celluclean® Evity® 4500 T is a robust cleaning cellulase that’s suited to cooler washes.

Details

This product contains enzymes. While enzymes are safe to use in consumer applications, they need correct handling in working environments to ensure workers’ safety.

Indeed, repeated inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols resulting from improper handling may induce sensitization and may cause allergic type 1 reactions in sensitized individuals.

Most laundry detergents and softeners contain chelators to soften water and help with stain removal. Unfortunately, strong chelators can also remove the calcium ions that are crucial to an enzyme’s structural stability. This product has been developed for compatibility with strong chelators.

Stable in presence of strong chelators

Some liquid detergents contain a lot of water and this can reduce the stability of certain enzymes. As enzymes lose their stability, they become less effective. This product has been developed for stability and consistent performance in detergents with high water content.

Stable in water-rich formulations

Most enzymes hold their stability best within a certain pH range. If the pH values of a detergent formulation are high, enzymes in the formulation can become less effective over time. That’s why we developed this product to be very stable even when exposed to high pH values. The result is consistently high performance on protein stain removal.

Stable in high pH formulations

Enzymes are proteins and proteases break down proteins in a reaction that needs water. That means that in storage, proteases in liquid laundry detergents can break down other enzymes that have been added to the detergent. The result is reduced performance. This product’s proprietary protease inhibitor technology prevents this breakdown, so all the enzymes in your detergents can perform fully in the wash.
