Entering a profitable new market

Discover how we helped our customer develop new brewing products

Case study

Challenge: An international brewer wanted to enhance profitability and enter a new market. Having already highly optimized its raw materials, the challenge was to increase RDF/attenuation to the highest possible level.

Solution: Partnering with Novozymes, the brewer developed a highly attenuated beer, launching a new brand to enter a highly profitable new market segment. The following best-in-class enzymes did the job: Termamyl® SC 4X, Ceremix® Pro and Attenuzyme® Core, as well as a customized solution for filtration. Novozymes also provided a tailormade mashing recipe to support excellent brewhouse and fermentation results.

Location: Asia-Pacific
